The Platinum 250-400-600-660 Electronic Ballast with pwm master controller connection is a microprocessor controlled ballast that maintains lamp lumens longer than traditional ballasts. 

Low level of ignition at only 3A per device. It is a very quiet and light weight ballast that can be mounted on the wall. Thermal and circuit protection. Intelligent digital “soft-start” technology taking 1 minute to reach full power. This ballast also has “soft-dim” which means that when you raise or lower the power of the ballast is graduated mind extending the life of the bulb.

With the Pwm port, you can connect up to 30 ballasts simultaneously to a Platinum Pwm controller!

Specifications

• Fast start-up. Reaches full power in less than one minute, while electromagnetic ballasts take up to 20 minutes to reach full power.

• Completely silent. You have to be very close to the ballast to hear a very faint sound.

• Compact and small design. A 600 ballast weighs less than 4 kilos compared to the 8 kilos of the electromagnetic ballast.

• Produces less heat.

• Safety circuit. To protect the ballast and lamp from damage.

• Extends lamp life. The loss of lumens of the lamp over time is drastically lower than that of a conventional ballast.

• Fully compatible. You can connect high pressure sodium (HPS) and metal halide (HM) lamps and LEDs.

• More lumens. From 20 to 30% more lumens than with an electromagnetic ballast. More lumens = More harvest.

• Adjustable light intensity. To adapt the light to the phenological state of the plants, the Platinum ballasts allow to adapt the light from 50 %, through 75 %, 100 % and 110 % (Super Lumens).
