Special bulbs for high frequency electronic ballasts. Its connection is double socket and its nomenclature D.E. stands for Double Ended. The lamp has a terminal wire on each side, eliminating the need for a structure inside the lamp to support the wire.

The absence of this structure eliminates shadows on the emitted beam. For horizontal use only. The cover of these lamps is made of quartz glass, so it should not be touched with hands directly.
