Platinum Smart ECO controller
The Smart eco Controller Platinum for LED, CMH, LEC, and HPS allows you to control PLATINUM luminaires and PLATINUM LEDs, offering maximum control, ease of use, simple installation, and the security of plug-and-play connectivity. Simply connect the controller cables to the ballasts using the RJ14 cable (see diagram), set the ballast selectors to EXT (external control), connect the controller and the ballasts directly to the mains power supply, and you're ready to go.
The controller can turn all connected ballasts on and off using its internal clock, adjusting them to the required output level (as a percentage or exact power output). This electronic controller replaces lighting timers and contactors while preventing the inrush current surge when the lights are switched on.
Two very important features are the auto-dim function and emergency stop. When the temperature in the grow space rises beyond the level selected in your grow room's climate control system, the system can be damaged beyond repair. The temperature sensor detects this and will automatically dim the lights to prevent exceeding the selected temperature. If, for any reason, your climate control system fails completely and the temperature rises to unacceptable levels, the system will perform an emergency shutdown of all connected equipment. With the Platinum Smart Eco Controller, you can control two rooms: 80 lights can be connected to portal A and another 80 lights to portal B, for a total of 160 lights controlled per smart controller.
