The Platinum Dimmable 250-400-600-660 watt Electronic Ballast is a microprocessor controlled ballast that maintains lamp lumens longer than traditional ballasts. 

Low turn-on at only 3A per fixture. Quiet operation and light weight, wall mountable. Thermal and circuit protection. Intelligent digital “soft-start” technology taking 1 minute to reach full power. This ballast also has “soft-dim” which means that when you raise or lower the power of the ballast is graduated mind extending the life of the bulb.

WHY CHOOSE ELECTRONIC BALLASTS INSTEAD OF TRADITIONAL ELECTROMAGNETIC BALLASTS?

• Fast ignition. It reaches its maximum power in less than one minute, while electromagnetic ballasts take up to 20 minutes to be at full power.
